Tunisian stitch help

Forum: Crochet Stitches

Hello Folks! I’m Savannah and I just need help figuring out the right way to stitch Tunisian “panels” together for a blanket. You see I’m in the mist of making a really big graphghan and I went the Tunisian route. My hook is a 5mm and only about 10 inches long and I don’t have one of those fancy expansion ones. But anyway I feel like I bit off more than I can chew with this one. It’s going to be a 6 panel piece at this rate and I just got done with then second on second before now I am stuck on how I’m going to stitch them together. Can someone please tell me if they have had this problem or know if a video online of some sort. Thank you!!

I think it would be the same as stitching Granny Squares together, if that helps.

I’ve made one with squares and one with panels and I just slip stitched them together. Makes such a nice study blanket.

Here are a few ways to connect granny squares, which could be used for Tunisian panels too – “http://www.craftpassion.com/12-ways-to-join-granny-squares/2/”;. The author shows a picture of the type of join and provides a link to the tutorial. Hope this helps!
