Deathflake Tunisian "In the Round" Afghan #4: Section 4

Here we go .. this will be the biggie!

We will have a Deathflake pattern on either side of the centre one that we completed (on each side.)

To find where to begin the pattern: Find the centre stitch along the first side; (from the centre of the completed skull). That is the 15th stitch of that pattern.
Count backwards 14 stitches, to find the beginning of that pattern and then another 29 stitches to where this next pattern will begin.
Mark this stitch.

This first row, of Section 3, will look like this:
TK in to the marked stitch; Deathflake pattern; TK 29; Deathflake pattern; TK to the end and do the corner increase.
Repeat on the other three sides.
Continue for the rest of the pattern.

TIP: check each Deathflake pattern section before moving on. With 400 stitches per round, you do not want to have to pull out an entire row to fix a mistake!

Debbie (life & crocheting have a lot in common: it's all about one stitch at a time.)

Debbie Pribele ...

ARGH – This has been a big headache for me. Why? Well, apparently, I was almost in zombie mode, I was so tired.
Yesterday, I had a two hour nap in the morning and another 2 hours in the afternoon, went to bed early and didn’t get up til 5 this morning. I should have done that on Thursday BEFORE the rows and rows and rows of errors occurred.
So many errors and, being so tired, my “fixes” ended up to be just more errors.

I am not much for ripping out rows of work and I can usually handle the oopsies in my work. Ripping out about 2,000 stitches did NOT tickle my fancy and so I left them in. I’m hoping that they will be only barely noticeable once the afghan is completed.

I had been zooming along so well, with this afghan. I was so excited. And then the stall. And more stall… and more stall.

Hopefully I am back in the groove now that the sleep has happened.
Crossing my fingers!
