The Crazy Crochet Journey #2: Etsy Shop Update

Thanks to everyone who has helped me reach this milestone! My Etsy shop has gotten over 1,000 views in less than a month. That is huge for a new Etsy shop! On top of that, I’ve made 6 sales, and gotten 900+ favorites! I’m really excited about how all of this is going. I still haven’t heard back from the craft book publisher, but I am waiting patiently. Thanks again to all of my good friends and supporters!

Well, I’m glad you asked! I’ve been wanting to share what I’ve learned so far really bad. It is not hard to open the shop, however maintaining the shop is where it gets time consuming! In order for your shop to actually be seen and become popular, it’s EXTREMELY important to be active in teams and forums. That is also very time consuming. Also, you need to be willing to invest. Etsy recommends that you start your shop with at least 30-40 listings. Each listing cost $0.20 for it to be listed for 4 months. Or until it sells. The biggest key is persistence! You cannot give up. It could take months for you to make your first sale. You just have to keep your chin up! Let me know if you have anymore questions! 😁
