My 2015 Mystery Afghan CAL (Crochet Along), the up-date

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything about my CAL. Most of that has been because I’ve been sick for the past 12 days so just getting my crocheting done was hard enough let alone blogging about it. But oh how I’m loving this project! We are now on weeks 6/7 and I just got things ready to get at it…as I pointed out I’ve been sick, so it’s been a slow start for me this week.

So before I could put hook to yarn I had to make 20 mini yarn balls, 24 feet long. This is for a braided boarder that we are using to put the granny squares together. It looks so awesome on all the pictures I’ve seen of projects posted so far. I can’t wait to share my photos with you!

So this evening, after dinner, I will review the video once more to make sure I have this new step ingrained in my brain.

I will show you a few pictures of the project so far:
