Time to vote, everyone!!!
This was an interesting week, wasn’t it? We kind of got stuck after the first suggestion, but we ended up with 4, so here you go:
Option 1: Puff Stitch: yarn over, reach hook into the low-V single crochet in previous row, pull up a loop 1/4 inch high. Yarn over, pull up a second loop same height, and yarn over, pull up a third loop. Yarn over. There should be 7 loops on the hook. Pull the yarn through all loops and gently secure it with a top slip stitch.
Then skip one sc and work singles up over the shell stitch, avoiding one last single crochet in the next low point, and work two more puff stitches in the bottom single crochet from previous row. Continue around, joining with a slip stitch at the original puff stitch.
Option 2: two puff stitches in each little v between shells, and single crochet stitches across the top of the shells, but done only in the back loop of each.
Option 3: 3 sc into top of first shell; chain 4; dc into stitch between shells of row below, chain 4, 3 sc into top of the next shell and repeat around.. slip stitch into first sc of the round
Option 4: 3sc in top of shell; 1 sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1triple crochet, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 3 sc in top of next shell.. repeat around; slip stitch into first sc to finish off.
TO VOTE simply identify the option number in the comments section below.
The official “row 4” will be posted on Monday.
