Crocodile stitch handbag

Editor's Choice - Oct 16, 2014

I used polyester with two strands held together.
I love the green shade.
This is the first time I apply crocodile stitch in my bag project.
For the brim I put few rows of single crochet.
The handle was built using tunisian knit stitch.
I used satin fabric for lining and I also added zipper.

Debbie Pribele ...

it’s beautiful — and so functional, with the pockets inside and the zipper.
I never thought about using tunisian stitch for handles!!! Nice.

Thanks!
I usually make rows of single crochet for handles.
But at the end the crocodile stitch made the bag thicker than I imagined.
I was thinking to use tunisian stitch to balance the bag and voila..it worked.
