Carla Rioux ...

My mother introduced me to crochet when I was a little girl. I had made several latch hook projects, and I was ready for something new. Hello, Granny Squares! Does anyone even latch hook anymore? lol

I have made many baby blankets, but I mostly work on afghans. The more challenging the better. For some reason, they tend to clear my noisy brain. Hmmm

I love sharing the couch with the Hubbster. I’ll have a work in progress in my lap, and he will have a remote in his hand. And my feet? Well, they are in their favorite spot, his lap. :)

Please excuse the lack of pictures of my work. I usually give them as gifts, but I promise to post photos starting with my next project. It’s time for me to get busy. If I use one of your patterns, I promise I will let everyone know I stole it from you. ;)

I can certainly relate I started with Latch hooking rugs tooo – and then went on to the famous granny square in back of a mini-van on the way to work with a friend – I was only 17 at the time. Well I got hooked from that day on. Reading your profile certainly jogged by memory thought for sure you were writing about me – lol
